JANUARY 2012

 This is the start of our first full year as a married couple. Like everyone else in January we both made some resolutions. RDub made a real resolution and he is eating healthier, exercising, and not drinking soda. My resolution was to watch more TV. However, I have been exercising too.
 This month hasn't been the best. We've both been working a ton and have no money to show for it. January is always hard because it follows Christmas bills. Also, our car registration was due and we had to buy a dresser. RW has been working his but off with Colors and coaching basketball. I finally have my class under control, but of course report cards had to go out. Both of us have been a little on edge, but we decided to change our attitudes yesterday.

 We decided we were going to be happy. I even went to church, all 3 hours, and enjoyed it. Who would have thought :) Later we decided we were going to make a yummy treat with Addi. 
   I am totally excited for the rest of the year, and the rest of our lives
 

UB Trip June 13-17 2011

 The Upward Bound trip this summer was crazy, but fun. We went to some really amazing places and got stuck in a lot of traffic.

Mother's Day project

Before

Kali and I spent all day one Saturday before Mother's Day redoing the front yard while John and Roz were out shopping. We spent the day pulling out bushes, weeds, and trees. Bryan helped, but then had a really bad allergy attack because of the awful tree and had to go inside. 

RW came later and worked on the lawn. He mowed, weed whacked, and fertilized. 

After all the strenuous work, we all helped plant the pretty flowers to make it look ten times better.

As we were finishing up and putting the tools away, John and Roz pulled into the drive way. I wish one of us could have taken a picture of Roz's face. She was so surprised and happy that, yes my friends, she cried!

Easter Fun

 We had a lot of fun this Easter hanging out at the Montague residence. 

Dub and I stopped after church to take a picture.

This was a very fun Easter. Almost the whole Montague family hung out the entire day. 

I wish I would have been able to see my family also, but they were all in Colorado, so we visited them a few days later. After they got home.
